CONFIRMED
Grand Theft Auto V and Red Dead Redemption 2 are the headliners among the games leaving PS Plus Extra. Push Square reports that the GTA V exit lands two days before GTA 6 launches.
What we know
Push Square reports that 11 PS5 and PS4 games leave PS Plus Extra on November 17, 2026, with the full list shown in the PS Store’s Last Chance to Play section. Push Square also reports that Sony had already confirmed GTA V’s departure directly to players.
PlayStation LifeStyle’s list from the PS Store, dated October 20, includes:
- Grand Theft Auto V
- Red Dead Redemption 2
- Football Manager 26
- The Talos Principle 2
- Cricket 24
- Rock of Ages 3: Make & Break
- Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom
- Hotshot Racing (select regions)
- Earth Defense Force 4.1 (select regions)
- Rapala Fishing Pro Series (select regions)
- Yet Another Zombie Defense HD (select regions)
- Thank Goodness You’re Here (select regions)
That list totals 12 entries. Push Square and other outlets put the count at 11, so your exact number depends on your region. PlayStation LifeStyle says the games leave by November 17, when the next month’s Extra and Premium lineups arrive.
PlayStation Universe separately reported that Sony revealed the November departures, naming both Rockstar games.
According to Push Square, PS5 owners are getting a system notification about GTA V’s expiry date, and that notification suggests playing it before GTA 6 arrives. Push Square also notes that GTA V has been on Extra three times since December 2023, and Red Dead Redemption 2 is on its third cycle.
Push Square points out that Extra games work differently from Essential monthly games. Once an Extra title leaves the catalog, you lose access. To keep playing after November 17, you will need to buy it.
Earlier counts of seven games from AllKeyShop and 10 from Playfront are out of date. AllKeyShop’s seven-game list came from an early update on the Japanese PlayStation Store, before the full Last Chance to Play list went up.
What we don’t know yet
Nobody has said whether GTA V or Red Dead Redemption 2 will return to PS Plus in the future. Given their history on the service, a fourth cycle would not be surprising, but that is not confirmed.
Regional availability is also still a little messy. Push Square reports that the update was live in full for most regions when it published, but only partially live in the UK, USA and Japan as part of a staggered rollout. If a game on the list doesn’t appear in your Last Chance to Play section, check again closer to the date.
November’s incoming Extra and Premium lineup has not been covered in the reporting here.
What it means

You have until November 17, so put the big commitments first. Red Dead Redemption 2 is the hardest to finish in a few weeks. If you are partway through the story, that is your priority. If you haven’t started it, think about whether you can realistically finish before it leaves or whether buying it makes more sense.
GTA V is the obvious one to play if you want a refresher before GTA 6. Sony itself is pushing that idea in its notification. With GTA 6 landing two days after removal, according to Push Square, plenty of players will already be moving on anyway.
For shorter sessions, Hotshot Racing, Rock of Ages 3 and Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom are easier to fit in, availability permitting. Football Manager 26 and Cricket 24 subscribers should bear in mind that any save you care about loses its game once access ends.
Your save data should still be there if you buy a game later, but your access to the Extra copy ends on the 17th. Check the Last Chance to Play section on your console for your region’s exact list.
